Essential Insurance *
All of the Total Legal Care family of policies include the same wide number of standard features.
- Employment Protection (representation costs)

Whilst it has far more extra features than most of its competitors, Essential is the closest product to a market standard wording as all employment claims are subject to a 51% prospects of success test.
Absolute Employment *
Absolute is we believe the widest and most forgiving policy wording on the market since there is no ‘prospects test’ for employment claims. This means the client is entitled to representation even when an unintended error has threatened their chances of a successful defence. Absolute premiums are a bit higher because the policy meets more claims than others do, but solicitors favour the policy as they avoid arguments of prospects and the policy ‘does what it says on the tin.’
Total Legal Care Complete Business Protection *
TLC Complete Business Protection * takes the Absolute policy one stage further, additionally including cover for contract disputes and an element of tax protection service (out sourced).
